About: With the knowledge that soap can come from naturally derived products, this project helps me compare the use of more commonly used synthetic soaps to natural soaps. ​

How it meets criteria: I will be analyzing the biomimic properties of synthetic soap to natural deriver soaps such as the Horse Chestnut seed.

Resources consulted: Internet- YouTube, articles

Materials needed (for synthetic soap): various oils, lye powder, old sauce pot, thrifted thermometer, thrifted immersion blender, protective gloves, protective eyewear. Optional- fragrance, natural colorants for pigment.

Hours: 9 hours + drying time.
