About: While working at Wegmans, I have discovered many intricacies of grocery stores that I never reflected on. Working with paper bags made me question if their use was all that better for the environment that it had been portrayed to be. That's where life cycle analysis tools come in. I used a 4 step method to analyze the choices Wegmans could make to better suit the environment and their customers. Along the way, I pictured many other items I can analyze that could benefit both sides of the equation so-to-speak.

How it meets criteria: I layed around with this 4 step method to uncover things about paper bags that were hidden to me. I was also unfamiliar with the proper LCA and used it to adjust my common trails of thought. I am happy to learn about LCA because it has familiarized myself with opportunity cost of everyday situations. I hope to be more thoughtful about the choices I make after learning about the life and death of paper bags.
